The ingestion of cranberry modifies the chemical composition of urine in order to inhibit the adherence of bacteria, especially Escherichia Coli, to the walls of the urinary tract. This action seems to rely on the presence of different substances, notably hippuric acid and proanthocyanidins (condensate tannins) of high molecular weight. If we refer to results from various recent clinical studies, the use of cranberry helps reduce the number of urinary infections from 20% to 50% per year.

Therefore, cranberry represents a new possibility to prevent urinary infection, by reducing the need of antibiotics and consequently the risks related to antibiotics.

Recommended dosage

1 capsule in the morning and in the evening, during 1- days. Then, only 1 capsule in the morning. Drink abundantly all along the day.
